Simply a Great Place to Stay!

Stayed December 2011, travelled with family

We have just arrived home after a wonderful Christmas stay here. Our family live all over England and as myself and my partner had stayed here recently we suggested The Stirrups as ideal meeting up place for Christmas Day lunch and we were not disappointed! We booked 3 rooms for Christmas Eve night and Christmas day night and had 11 turning up for lunch. We arrived to find that we had all been upgraded, and my partner and i had the Bridal Suite. What a lovely touch. It meant we could entertain 4 generations of family in our room alone making it feel like we were at home when it came to opening presents. The lunch was fantastic even allowing for the over exuberance of vegetables we were given leading to arunning joke between ourselves and the brilliant restaurant manager Claude. the staff worked tirelessly even tho' they were all putting in very long shifts. Thanks to you all you made our party fantastic as did Philip sorry Father Christmas! The icing on the cake for us was that my partner mislaid her necklace and one phone call to the hotel confirmed that it had been found in our room and handed in to reception! Great, great place to stay. As a family run hotel it really doesn't get any better than this.

Good option close to Bracknell

Considering the other options in the area, I think this is the best. It has a country house feel, despite being so close to Bracknell. The restaurant is lovely - service is very good. Really like this hotel.

Its also a nice place for lunch.

Our dealings with the hotel,both before and during our stay,was excellent.It is impossible to find anything to complain about. We would wholeheartedly recommend it in every respect.

Business Traveller

Being a frequent business traveller I stay in many hotels yet rarely do I stay anywhere where the staff are so friendly and helpful to requirements. It truly was a pleasure and I would definitely stay again.

We would happily recommend this hotel for families. The family room comfortably sleeps 5 and hotel staff were very welcoming. The breakfast and evening menus were also excellent and great value for money. The hotel would suit anyone thinking of exploring the local theme parks as well as anyone wanting to visit central London as the train from Ascot station means you can be in Central London within an hour of leaving the hotel with minimal hassle
