Although this hotel gives a feeling of class and classic charm there are no pretensions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were especially pleasant. The food was good and a large cool garden was a welcome relief with over 30C in Windsor. So we had dinner both nights in the garden.

Stayed at Stirrups hotel for one week for family holiday . Hotel itself is very good and nothing is to much trouble for the staff who make you feel very comfortable . Rooms are spacious and have very nice en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent and can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg.

Stayed for just one night with my elderly parents but wish we could have stayed for more. Will definitely go back to this hotel. Could not fault in any way. Both rooms were fabulously decorated and had super king size beds and were spotless clean. My parents over looked the gardens ( which were gorgeous and very well kept) and ours over the front, both rooms were very quiet. Breakfast was fab with a great selection to choose from. All three reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the lady in the evening even printed off our Windsor castle tickets for us. We also ate in the restaurant the night we arrived. Again all staff were pleasant and efficient, food was of good quality and we all enjoyed our different meals.

On our recent visit to Royal Ascot we had a pleasurable stay at this really good Hotel. Where we were very well looked after by all staff. We received a very good breakfast both mornings and when our time allowed we enjoyed the beautiful gardens ... we have stayed here once before & would definitely return.

Stayed here for Royal Ascot day at the races. Only took 20 minutes in cab which hotel arranged for us. Happy to keep luggage until we returned from day out, would happily take to room when ready. Lovely garden, nice outdoor space to have a drink alfresco. Wasn't chuffed with evening meal, but took off bill, more than made up for by a lovely breakfast. Buffet for cereals etc but toast and hot food served to order. Would stay again next year, most guests seemed to enjoy their stay as we met a few at breakfast, that we had chatted to after the races in the garden area. Nice hotel

We stayed here whilst attending a function a few miles away. We were both blown away by the customer service (I really should have got names). The check in was fantastic, the lady told us everything we needed to know with a smile, and we went off to unpack. After we came down to the bar for a couple of drinks, before getting ready for our evening. We sat outside in the beautiful gardens, it was so tranquil and relaxing. Before we went out for the evening, we checked if we would be able to get a late drink back at the hotel after. This was absolutely no problem, and rather than disturbing people there is a room off reception where you can relax. On our return, the night porter, who was a young man and fantastically friendly and accommodating, got us our wine and off we went to finish the evening with a little nightcap. Eggs Benedict and the breakfast experience, again, faultless. I literally cannot think of one thing I would like to change. Well done. The smiles and friendliness of all the staff, definitely tops off a great hotel, you should all be commended xx

I could have stayed forever here. So quaint and yet so modern. The breakfast area was what I would call outstanding. Staff extremely professional. Room very clean. I would give a 100% for this hotel with great views. The picture on the walls depict the hotel's name and surroundings need to be viewed. I didn't have the time sadly. Would and have recommended this hotel to others! A gosh lovely when went down to breakfast as very comfortable! ❤️

I love this family-run, quiet and select hotel. Having attended a function there last June, we then went back for a couple of days in August, and loved it so much we returned for the Christmas package with our family. The food is wonderful, the staff friendly and efficient; it is immaculately clean and it's just a lovely place to unwind. There is no spa, no gym, no pool, no silly 'hubs' ... but the rooms especially in the coach house are cosy and welcoming, the countryside is pretty, you can sit in the pretty gardens with a cuppa in the summer and in the cosy bar with a hot toddy in the winter - and at Christmas it was so pretty. The lunch table was beautifully decorated - no expense spared - and lunch was fantastic. We all want to go back - a home from home!

I use the Stirrups every now and then when I'm staying down in Bracknell on Business. Its by far the best place to stay in the area - if you need a good size comfortable room, cold beer and good food then you cannot go far wrong. Breakfast is freshly prepared and well worth getting up that little bit earlier to enjoy!

We stayed here for one night with our three little girls. Firstly the promo photos are a little deceptive as it is on the side of the road but that certainly doesn't take from your stay. Our absolutely spotless huge family room (305) located in The Coach House at the back of the hotel was simply perfect(What a fab bathroom..) and the activity packs for the girls such a lovely thought. We dined in the hotel that evening which was lovely(Good shiraz!) and breakfast (£12.50 )the next morning cooked to order and delicious...but Sam the waiter was particularly special and the girls are still talking about him! A great addition so professional, friendly and warm-hearted...If in this area again will definitely return.

We would just like to say, thank you so so much for a amazing wedding day, from the beginning to end we cannot fault you at all. As for Louise, we are so so happy she was there on the day, every thing went absolutely brilliantly, everyone mentioned how good Louise was, as for our final meeting she even met us in her own time, which we cannot thank her enough, all your staff are so polite and amazing !!! We will see you soon to enjoy ur amazing food, scenery and memories.

We needed an overnight stay for a relatives party and this hotel was great. Good food and clean comfortable room. Very friendly staff with very good service. We would definitely recommend this hotel with the added bonus of being close to ascot.

We popped in for bite of lunch and were greeted beautifully by Sam who made us feel very welcome. There was nothing on the menu that was lite enough for our requirements but we both went for something on the set menu. Nothing was too much trouble and so we were able to place our order. Some establishments will not provide that courtesy if it is a set menu. We were served by Yulia who was cheerful and most helpful and along with Sam made our whole lunchtime visit special. Stirrups is a wonderful place to have lunch and it's also a super wedding venue and above all incredibly immaculate inside and out. Well worth a visit. Special thanks to Sam and Yulia. For our wedding we wanted a single location for our service and reception that also offered accomodation as we had overseas relatives coming. We had checked out a couple of other venues before Stirrups but after our first appointment with Dimitri, the wedding planner, we were decided and booked our day. I can say it was definitely one of our best decisions. The hotel staff are very professional, curteous and helpful the rooms extremely well presented and the location of the hotel was perfect for us. All our guests were impressed with the hotel, staff and the excellent food which the hotel provides. All of which went to make our day perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. With 2 adults and 2 children we had the family executive room which was nicely decorated, spacious and exceptionally clean. The children were provided with an activity pack which was a nice thought. There was a warm welcome at reception with advise on where to visit in the area and in the evening we used room service for our evening meal as we were shattered after a day in Legoland, the food was delicious and reasonably priced too. A very comfortable night's sleep. We would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it to others. (Approx 5 minute drive to Legoland)

What a fantastic play to stay ,you are close to most places of interest, the rooms are very well presented and nicely decorated. The restaurant food is excellent and is you didn't fancy eating you could always have a drink in the bar. The staff are very attentive and it seems nothing is too much trouble.

I was there on a business trip, but this is a very romantic place. Quite in the middle of nowhere, but it was really peaceful and quiet. Nice friendly staff, the food is relatively good. I was given a room in a building behind the one you see in the photos, I was told it was a newer building. Room was big and clean, and so was the bathroom. Nothing to complain about there. If you're not from UK, bring a plug adapter as the hotel provides one extra cost. It is great for a weekend getaway. Stayed February 2016, travelled on business

“Great food” Had the brasserie menu and was a real treat. Didn't stay the night as live nearby but food and wine can't come more highly recommend. The scallops and black pudding with the Chablis is the best way to start the meal.

Had a one night stay here. I arrived at 19:30 and took my bag to my room and went straight into the restaurant. The food was superb. Fresh ingredients noted and lovely presentation. The room was cosy and warm with comfortable bed. Tea and coffee was on hand. The bathroom had a lovely walk in shower and was fantastically clean. The staff were kind and friendly. Would book again no doubt. Stayed March 2016, travelled on business

When I travel for business in the Windsor area, I choose this hotel, although it is out in the countryside. The comfort there overweight this disadvantage. The rooms I've been to are clean, large enough and the food in the hotel is great.

We have lived local for many years.Today was our first visit. We went for Sunday lunch. It really was lovely. The staff were great and let me try all the wine! The food was excellent and we will definitely return.

I stayed here with family for a wedding in November, and if I came back to the area I would definitely stay here again! Our rooms were in the Coach House, a newer building attached to the hotel, which was nice for us as we had a few rooms and it was almost our own "private hotel". The rooms themselves were quite spacious, came with complimentary bottled water and were extremely clean. The shower was amazing as well, I could've spent hours in there! The hotel exterior is beautiful and in a wonderful setting, and the inside will not disappoint either. I would definitely recommend if staying in the area.
